Here's the newest CSA farm member- Aiden was born 2.5.09, weighing 9 lbs. 4 oz. Must've been all that good fresh organic produce that made him such a big healthy boy!
Yesterday was the nicest spring day yet. Mom and Ryan were outside for hours. I put together some new outdoor toys for Ryan, and Mom did some of my garden chores for me. She gave me a head start on clearing debris from several beds and planters, and cut back my butterfly bush. I did a little pruning of the crabapple and apple trees, and arranged a few small branches from the apple tree in a jug so we can enjoy the blossoms indoors. I noticed that the hostas are coming up, and a few other perennials are starting to poke up as well. I WILL keep ahead of the weeds this year...I will I will I will.
