Whoops- this week really got away from me. We haven't finished the lettuce, but otherwise we did pretty well this week! I'll try to get some of these recipes posted over the weekend...
- 4 heads lettuce (selected from green leaf, red leaf, deer tongue)- Salad, salad, more salad, and we still have one head left!
- 3/4 lb. spinach- Spinach Salad with Indian-Spiced Chickpeas and Charred Red Onions
- 2 summer squash- Gemelli with Yellow Squash and Peas, a recipe from the current issue of Everyday Food
- 3 pieces broccoli (about the equivalent of one "bunch" at the supermarket)- Broccoli-Cheese Melts, an old favorite.
- 2 heads bok choy- Pan-Fried Noodle Cake with Stir-Fried Bok Choy (A Year in a Vegetarian Kitchen)
- 6 garlic scapes- I ended up brushing these with olive oil and tossing them on the grill, just to see how they'd turn out. The verdict: they were okay, but a little stringy. I think I like them better cut into smaller pieces and stir-fried.
- 1 pint sugar snap peas- Curried Fried Rice with Snap Peas and Tofu, from A Year in a Vegetarian Kitchen
- 1 1/2 quarts strawberries- Once again, we just ate 'em. And I'm glad we did, as it turns out this was the last week for berries at the farm. There are still some available locally at other farms, and I'm hoping to pick up a few quarts to try some jam, sorbet, and maybe one more pie.

I didn't know you have a blog! What fun!
Looking forward to reading your progress in the kitchen, even as I'm slacking in mine. :)
