Well, drat. This week's cool, windy, wet weather means the strawberries aren't ripening much at the farm, so this week's harvest is likely to be greens and herbs only- no berries. I'll get to work on those pies as soon as I get some berries! In the meantime, I need to get creative with salads and such- it sounds like we'll be getting a LOT of lettuce.

My favorite nursery is having a half-off sale on shrubs and evergreens, and we have a 40 foot stretch of fence that I'd like to plant a border in front of, so I did some shopping today. Now I get to play musical plants for a few days, arranging and re-arranging them in front of the fence before deciding where to plant them. And I'm sure I'll go back to the nursery for more...
